In the St. Louis metro area, we’re still seeing low inventory, yet a noticeable demand remains on the sidelines, with buyers waiting for the right time to jump back in. This quiet market has left condos particularly hard to move, as buyers lean toward single-family options with future potential. Interestingly, ranch homes and one-level living options are in hot demand, especially from our aging population who value the ease of accessible layouts. As we move toward winter, I expect things to stay on the slower side, but there’s an undeniable sense that Spring will bring a fresh surge of energy and new opportunities. For those ready to make a move, it may be the ideal time to plan your next steps and get a strategy in place—2025 looks like it’s set to kick off with a lot of momentum!
